Extension Groups
Use the Extension Groups configuration option to define which phone numbers a TeleTime IP user can or cannot use to dial into the telepony server. The TeleTime IP Extension Groups page allows you to:
- Add, edit, duplicate, and delete extension groups.
- View the extension groups defined in the system
- Export the extension group grid as a csv file.
To configure a TeleTime IP Extension Group, navigate to
Configuration > TeleTime IP from the UDM main menu.
Click Tap
View
and then select
TeleTime IP Configuration.
Click Tap
Extension Groups.
Add, edit, duplicate, and delete extension groups
You can configure TeleTime IP extension groups in the following ways:

Click Tap
New
to create a new extension group.
- Select an existing extension group and click tap
Duplicate
to copy it.
- Select an existing extension group and click tap
Edit
to modify it. (You can also edit an extension group by clicking tapping its name in the grid.)
- Delete an existing extension group by selecting it and clicking tapping Delete
.
Use the check boxes in the leftmost column of one or more rows to select or deselect one or more extension groups in the grid, or click tap the check mark in the table header to select or deselect all extension groups.
Provide a name for the group and an optional description:

- Select Allow calls only from the phone numbers listed below if the extension group lists those numbers that telephony users to whom the group is assigned may use to dial into the telephony system. These users cannot use numbers that are not listed in this group.
- Select Do not allow calls from the phone numbers listed below if the extension group lists those numbers that telephony users to whom the group is assigned may not use to dial into the telephony system. These users must use numbers that are not listed in this group.
Click Tap
Insert Row
to delete the phone number on that row. There must be at least one extension in the group. If there is not, you cannot save the extension group.
For each extension, enter the following information:
- Number — 1-to 15-digit number to be sent to the telephony system for a user to whom this extension group is assigned. It may be an extension number or a standard phone number. The field is required and must be numeric. Alphabetic and special characters (such as dashes, parentheses, and spaces) are not allowed.
- Description — Description that identifies the extension group.
Click Tap Save to save the extension group or click tap Cancel to dispose of your edits and exit. Assign the extension group to one or more TeleTime IP user profiles.
Export the grid
To export the grid to a csv file click tap
Export
. By default, the file has a name in the format <tenantname>-<Server-ID>-<mm-dd-yy>.csv. Click Tap
Open to open this file in Excel. Click Tap
Save to save this file under the default name or a different name or the save it and open it. Click Tap
Cancel to abort the operation.
Filter the grid
You can filter the items in the grid by clicking tapping
Filter
and entering a full or partial search string in the empty cells immediately beneath the column headings.
