Call Menus

Users of the telephony system must be assigned a call menu within their TeleTime IP user profiles. Call menus correspond to voice menus on the TeleTime IP Server,

The TeleTime IP telephony system has seven voice menus:

  • Employee Timecard
  • Inquiries
  • Personal Options
  • Supervisor
  • Supervisor Timecard
  • Supervisor Inquiries
  • Maintenance

Employee users typically have access only to the Employee Timecard, Inquiries, and Personal Options menus. Supervisors typically have access to all menus except the Maintenance menu. Usually, only one or two administrators at a site have access to the Maintenance menu.

Regardless of whether they have been made available in the call menu, Supervisor functions can be performed only by users only on employees who report to them.

You control which menu options are available to callers by defining call menus in the Teletime IP Configuration page.

Access the TeleTime IP Call Menu configuration page

To configure a TeleTime IP Call Menu, navigate to Configuration > TeleTime IP from the UDM main menu. Click Tap View and then select TeleTime IP Configuration. Click Tap Call Menus.

The Call Menus configuration option allows you to create a profile that defines the call menu options that are available to one or more users of the telephony system. A call menu must be associated with a TeleTime IP user profile in the User Profiles configuration option.

Use the Call Menus page to:

  • Add, edit, duplicate, and delete call menus.
  • View the call menus defined in the system

Use the check boxes in the leftmost column of one or more rows to select or deselect one or more call menus in the grid, or click tap the check mark in the table header to select or deselect all call menus .

Add, edit, duplicate, and delete call menus

You can configure TeleTime IP call menus in the following ways:

  • Click Tap New to create a new call menu.
  • Select an existing call menu and click tap Duplicate to copy it.
  • Select an existing call menu and click tap Edit to modify it. (You can also edit a call menu by clicking tapping its name in the grid.)
  • Delete an existing call menu by selecting it and clicking tapping Delete .

Use the following information to create and manage call menus. Items marked by an asterisk (*) are required; all others are optional.

Name*

Unique name of the call menu. It can contain up to 50 characters. Special characters are not allowed.

Description

Description of the call menu. It can contain up to 250 characters. Special characters are not allowed.

Filter the profile list

You can filter the items in the grid by clicking tapping Filter and entering a full or partial search string in the empty cells immediately beneath the column headings.
