Employee Timecard tab
The Employee Timecard menu contains the TeleTime IP system’s most frequently used functions.

Availability |
Enables employees to specify the times that they are available (or not available) to work. |
Time Stamp |
A time stamp is a marked point in time. Users record time stamps to sign in and out of work for shifts, breaks, and meals. By default, employees are prompted for a time stamp when they dial into the TeleTime IP server and the timekeeping application automatically determines whether it is an in-punch or out-punch. The TeleTime IP server can also be configured to request an explicit in-punch or out-punch. Select the "Employee must specify whether punching In or Out" option to force TeleTime IP employees to explicitly punch in and punch out. With the default timestamp functionality the application automatically determines whether a punch is an in-punch or out-punch. This practice sometimes leads to a chain of wrong punches after a missing punch. This is especially problematic for who are not using the employee schedule feature, because there is no schedule that they can use to automatically fill in a missing punch correctly. |
Job Transfer |
Allows employees to transfer hours from the home job, as needed. Employees are assigned a job in the business structure to which their hours are accrued. Typically, the administrator creates one or more TeleTime IP job alias which employees use for job transfers when dialed into the TeleTime IP server. |
Work Rule Transfer |
Allows employees to transfer hours based on their assigned work rule profiles. Work rules apply specific pay rules to shifts. This option allows callers to transfer hours worked to a different work rule. Typically, the administrator creates one or more TeleTime IP work rule aliases which employees use for work rule transfers when dialed into the TeleTime IP server. |
Labor Category Transfer |
Allows employees to transfer hours based on their assigned labor category profiles. Typically, the administrator creates one or more TeleTime IP labor category aliases which employees use for labor category transfers when dialed into the TeleTime IP server. |
Cost Center Transfer |
Allows employees to transfer hours based on cost center. Typically, the administrator creates one or more TeleTime IP cost center aliases which employees use for cost center transfers when dialed into the TeleTime IP server. |
Cancel Meal Deduction |
Cancels the caller’s meal deduction(s) for the current day. |
Data Entry |
Configure a call menu to allow users to enter data for either time-based pay codes (hours) or non-time-based pay codes (units). You can specify that the user be prompted to confirm the hours or units that he or she has entered and optionally return a confirmation code for the entry. (The confirmation code and caller ID of the transaction is recorded in the audit trail in the employee’s timecard and serves as a receipt for the transaction.) Select from:

Inquiries tab
The Inquiries menu contains schedule and timecard information.

Accruals |
Enables callers to hear their accrual balances. |
Total Hours |
Enables callers to hear the total number of hours they have worked in the current pay period. The information that is reported is current as of the last time the background processor ran. |
Last Time Stamp |
Enables callers to hear the date and time of the last time stamp entered in the telephony system. |
Availability |
Enables callers to hear their availability status for a selected day. |
Personal Options tab
The Personal Options menu enables users to change their passwords, choose their prompt level, and record their own names.

Change Password |
When users call in to the TeleTime IP system, they are prompted for an ID and password to ensure that they are legitimate TeleTime IP users. This menu option guides users through changing their passwords. Note that the length, expiration period, and other attributes of passwords are defined as system options on the TeleTime IP server. |
Prompt Level |
Guides users through changing the level of detail contained in the prompts that they hear. This option enables experienced users to reduce the time spent on calls, and less experienced users to hear more detailed instructions. |
Record Name |
Enables callers to record their own names. The recording is played back as confirmation when an employee ID is entered successfully. |
Supervisor tab
The Supervisor menu contains supervisor functions.

Reset Employee Password |
Enables a supervisor to reset an employee’s password. |
Review Employee’s Messages |
Enables a supervisor to review messages that were sent to employees. While listening to the messages, the supervisor has the option of deleting any of the messages. |
Send Messages |
Enables supervisors to send messages to individual employees. Employees can hear up to five messages during one call. Note that the number of messages that can be stored for a given employee at a single time is defined as a system option on the TeleTime IP server. |
Supervisor Timecard tab
The Supervisor Timecard menu contains timecard editing options that supervisors can perform for the employees that they supervise.

Supervisors can perform labor account transfers for their employees. This option allows supervisors to select a date and time for the transfer. |
Work Rule Transfer for Employee |
Supervisors can perform work rule transfers for their employees. This option allows supervisors to select a date and time for the transfer. |
Enter Hours for Employee |
Identical to the Enter Hours option that employees use, except that supervisors can perform pay code edits for their employees. |
Cancel Employee Meal Deduction |
Similar to the Cancel Meal Deduction operation that employees can perform except for the following differences:

Add Employee Time Stamp |
Allows supervisors to add a time stamp on a specific date and at a specific time for the selected employee. |
Delete Employee Time Stamp |
Allows supervisors to delete simple time stamps, labor account transfers, and work rule transfers on a specific date and at a specific time for the selected employee. |
Supervisor Inquiries tab
The Supervisor Inquiries menu allows supervisors to review employee information for the employees that they supervise.

Employee’s Last Time Stamp |
Reports the date and time of the last time stamp entered by the selected employee via the telephony system. |
Maintenance tab
The Maintenance menu lets administrators record customized voice prompts and send broadcast messages to all TeleTime IP users.
