Auto Transfer Groups

Use the Auto Transfer Groups configuration option to set up transfers that will automatically be performed when an employee dials into the TeleTime IP server from one or more designated phone numbers. Transfers are defined in the Transfer Definitions page. Automatic transfers are assigned to TeleTime IP employees in the employee's TeleTime IP user profile.

When transfers are uploaded from the TeleTime IP server, the timekeeping application validates that the timestamps orginated from a phone number that has been configured for automatic transfers. If so, it applies the transfer to the transaction.

To configure a TeleTime IP Auto Transfer Group, navigate to Configuration > TeleTime IP from the UDM main menu. Click Tap View and then select TeleTime IP Configuration. Click Tap Auto Transfer Groups.

You can filter the items in the grid by clicking tapping Filter and entering a full or partial search string in the empty cells immediately beneath the column headings.

Create or edit an Auto Transfer Group

To create a new auto transfer group, click tap New .

To edit an existing auto transfer group, select the check box in its row in the grid and click tap Edit . (You can also edit an auto transfer group by clicking tapping its name in the grid.)

Provide or edit the name for the auto transfer group and the optional description:

Name*

Unique name of the auto transfer group. It can contain up to 50 characters. Special characters are not allowed.

Description

Description of the auto transfer group. It can contain up to 250 characters. Special characters are not allowed.

The Automatic Transfer Group Editor page displays.

Map phone numbers to transfer definitions

Use the Automatic Transfer Group Editor, accessed from the TeleTime IP Configuration> Auto Transfer Groups page, to add, delete, edit, and duplicate automatic transfers in which phone numbers are mapped to transfer definitions.

You can configure TeleTime IP automatic transfers in the following ways:

  • Click Tap New to create a new automatic transfer.
  • Select an existing automatic transfer and click tap Duplicate to copy it.
  • Select an existing automatic transfer and click tap Edit to modify it. (You can also edit an transfer definition by clicking tapping its name in the grid.)
  • Delete an existing automatic transfer by selecting it and clicking tapping Delete .

Use the check boxes in the leftmost column of one or more rows to select or deselect one or more automatic transfers in the grid, or click tap the check mark in the table header to select or deselect all automatic transfers.

For each automatic transfer that is added, edited or duplicated, specify the following items:

Description

Phone Number*

  • 1-to 15-digit number to be sent to the telephony system for the user. It may be an extension number or a standard phone number. The field is required and must be numeric. Alphabetic and special characters (such as dashes, parentheses, and spaces) are not allowed. The phone number must be unique across automatic transfers with the exception that the same phone number can be used with different effective or expiration dates when the dates do not overlap.

Effective Start Date*

Effective start date of the automatic transfer.

Effective End Date

Effective end date of the automatic transfer. By default, the effective end date is "Forever."

Transfer Definition*

Select the transfer definition from the drop-down list. Transfer definitions are set up in the Transfer Definition option in the TeleTime IP Configuration menu.

Click Tap Save to save the auto transfer group or click tap Cancel to dispose of your edits and exit. Assign the auto transfer group to one or more TeleTime IP user profiles.

Export the grid

To export the grid to a csv file click tap Export . By default, the file has a name in the format <tenantname>-<Server-ID>-<mm-dd-yy>.csv. Click Tap Open to open this file in Excel. Click Tap Save to save this file under the default name or a different name or the save it and open it. Click Tap Cancel to abort the operation.
