Device Alerts

An alert is a notification of an unexpected event or error condition that may require user attention. When such an event takes place, a user for whom an alert for that event has been configured receives a notification. Currently the notification takes the form of an email.

You can configure email alerts about the status of devices, the state of the connection to the timekeeping server, and other events related to the operation of devices.

Alerts are configured on a per-user basis. To configure alerts, you must first decide which events you want to be notified of, how often you want to receive notifications, and where the notification should be sent.

After you configure the alerts you desire, click tap Save to save the configuration. Click Tap Cancel at any time to discard the configuration.
