PlanSource Integration Overview

Overview of PlanSource integration.

The PlanSource integration exchanges data for benefit services with PlanSource.

The integration processes in the PlanSource integration do the following:

  • Export person data — such as new hires, terminations, employee demographic updates — to PlanSource.
  • Import benefits data — such as scheduled payroll deductions — from PlanSource.

Prerequisites

  • You must have the Benefits Center entitlement.
  • Your tenant must have unified Dimensions HCM and Dimensions.
  • You must use Dimensions HCM for HR and Payroll; no other payroll system is supported.
  • PlanSource is the system of record for employee benefits. Benefit data, such as Tiers and Coverages, are stored only in PlanSource and not in HCM.
  • Dimensions HCM is the system of record for employee demographic data and for payroll.
