Leave of Absence configuration
Leave tracks time that employees take through company leave policies. Leave policies might cover federal or state leave laws, or workers’ compensation. Leave enables you to manage leave policies by providing the ability to request leave, to track leave time taken, and to generate alerts and documents. Leave assists with managing leave policies, such as the federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA), state-mandated leave policies, short-term disability, and workers’ compensation.
Create Leave pay codes and accrual codes
Note: Create pay codes and accrual codes that are for use by Leave only, such as sick-leave. Pay codes that are used by Leave must be excluded from manager’s pay code access profiles.
