    Pay policies are sets of rules that govern how employee hours are interpreted, including rounding of punches, overtime accrual, and holiday credit earnings, as well as the processing of time and attendance information through components like pay codes and work rules.

        Pay policies are sets of rules that govern how employee hours are interpreted, including rounding of punches, overtime accrual, and holiday credit earnings, as well as the processing of time and attendance information through components like pay codes and work rules.

          Percent Allocation rules allocate employee time across multiple labor categories, based on a selection criterion (labor category, cost center, or pay code). The rules are based on a pre-defined percentage distribution.

          Pay rule building blocks are constant within payroll policies; they are not shift-dependent. Pay rule building blocks include:

          The Holiday Credit Rules Building Blocks are used for defining and configuring holidays.

          Work rule building blocks are sets of parameters that control time and attendance functions. A building block can be used in multiple work rules. For example, if different groups of employees share the same Punch Round rule, use the round rule in the work rule assigned to each group.

          • Display Order

            Display order governs the order of paycodes in list boxes throughout the system. Rearrange the list so that frequently used paycodes are at the top.
