HCM is the system of record for job history data.

This integration exports employees' past, present, and future job assignments to a flat file for import by Virtual Roster. Primary jobs are exported automatically, and you can include jobs in employees' job transfer sets.

Use a hyperfind query to select the employees whose records are exported.

Typically, you run this integration once a day.

Timecard export to Virtual Roster integrations

UKG Pro WFM is the system of record for timecard totals.

This integration exports all timecard totals — including punches, paid time off , unpaid breaks, and timecard edits such as role transfers — to a flat file for import by Virtual Roster. Virtual Roster uses this information for reports and to generate workload.

Use a hyperfind query to select the employees whose records are exported for the previous and current pay periods.

HCM and accruals export to Virtual Roster integrations

HCM is the system of record for accruals balances.

This integration exports all accruals balances — such as paid time off (PTO) and sick time — for employees to a flat file for import by Virtual Roster at the end of each pay period. Virtual Roster uses these balances for predictions and approval of time-off requests.

The balances are the total of all accruals, minus deductions and forfeitures, up to that date. It does not include deductions for requests not yet taken such as an approved time-off request for later.

Typically, you run this integration once each pay cycle after payroll has been processed. You can run this integration more frequently if needed.

Virtual Roster import of schedules and time-off requests

Virtual Roster is the system of record for schedules and time-off requests.

This integration imports the following schedule data from Virtual Roster by way of API calls:

• Scheduled shifts
  • Start and end dates and times
  • (Optional) Break start and end dates and times
  • Job transfers with location and role
  • Work rule
• Time-off requests: Time-off requests in UKG Pro WFM are not used. Time-off requests are imported from Virtual Roster as paycode edits.
