Analytics Viewer Tile

An Analytics Viewer Tile is a custom tile (smart tile) that is defined by an administrator that allows managers to monitor critical information within their primary location from the Analytics component. Each Analytics Viewer tile to which a manager has been assigned provides quick access to data for a primary KPI or metric and its supporting KPIs and metrics. If targets have been defined for the KPI and assigned to each user's primary location, the manager can see an indication of their performance. A trend chart or job chart can be displayed, depending on the configuration, to allow the manager to interpret the data visually. The manager can change the time period or location that is displayed in the viewer as needed.

Note: Analytics must be configured for data to be visible in an Analytics Viewer Tile.
Note: A trend chart always returns data for the last four weeks by week, regardless of the time period that is selected by the user.

Working with the tile

The manager can perform the following tasks in an Analytics Viewer tile:

  • Click Tap View Details to navigate to a Dataview that provides additional detail.
  • Click Tap the location selector arrow below the title to change the location . Only the locations that you are allowed to access are available.

The administrator can select and configure one or more Analytics Viewer tiles from Application Setup > Common Setup > Custom Tiles and add it to the employee's Home page.

Note: An Analytics Viewer tile is not available in the tile library. It must be added to the employee's Home page.

The administrator is able to configure:

  • The title that is displayed in the tile.
  • The primary metric or KPI that is shown. If the administrator has defined a standard target for the metric or KPI, it is automatically displayed in the tile, along with any defined threshold.
  • One or more supporting metrics or KPIs.
  • The standard time period or date range for the data shown in the tile.
  • A Dataview to which the user can link for additional details.
  • The type of chart (job or trend) that appears in the tile. (Note that a trend chart always shows data for the last four weeks by week, regardless of the selected time period.)
