Absence Analysis Tile

The Absence Analysis Tile allows a manager to monitor absenteeism within their primary location to quickly identify issues that may lead to productivity challenges.

  • Analytics must be configured to see the data in these tiles. You must have the following Mapping Category configured with the paycodes you want to use: Absenteeism, Unplanned Absenteeism.
  • You must configure targets & thresholds to have the target information visible in the tile. This requires that the target must be assigned to each user’s primary location.

This tile provides the following benefits to a manager:

  • Looks at the logged-in user’s primary job to determine their primary location and provides data for that location only(employee's primary location).
  • Retrieves data for the last 30 days to show the user a longer timeframe for determining absenteeism issues.
  • Presents target data to allow the user to see how they are performing against the defined target for their location.

Working with the tile

The manager can perform the following tasks in the Overtime Analysis Tile:

  • Click Tap View Details to navigate to a Dataview that provides additional detail.
  • Click Tap the location selector arrow below the title to change the location . Only the locations that you are allowed to access are available.

You can view the following information:

  • Data for the last 30 days. You can change the timeframe toa date range or another symbolic time period.
  • A chart that provides the Unplanned Absenteeism Hours as % of Absenteeism Hours by Job for the selected timeframe (default = Last 30 days).

You can view the following Analytics metrics and KPIs:

  • Unplanned Absenteeism Hours as % of Absenteeism Hours
  • Unplanned Absenteeism Hours
  • Absenteeism Hours
  • Unplanned Absenteeism Hours as % of Absenteeism Hours Target*
  • Unplanned Absenteeism Hours as % of Absenteeism Hours Threshold Indicator*

*Dependent on defining targets & thresholds for locations.

Note:

For the Target and Threshold fields to populate for the Absence Analysis and Overtime Analysis tiles, you must define Targets for two specific KPIs in Application Setup.

  • For the Absence Analysis tile, create a target for the “Unplanned Absenteeism Hours as % of Absenteeism Hours” KPI.
  • For the Overtime Analysis tile, create a target for the “Overtime Hours as % of Productive Hours” KPI.

To do so:

1. Go to Application Setup > KPI Builder > Target Management.

2. Click Tap Add > Standard Target

3. To select the appropriate KPI or Metric for which the target is being defined, click tap the drop-down arrow .

The administrator can select and configure one Absence Analysis tile from Application Setup > Common Setup > Custom Tiles and add it to the employee's Home page.

Note: This tile is not available in the tile library. It must be added to the employee's Home page.

The administrator is able to configure:

  • The title displayed in the tile.
  • The default timeframe used by the tile. The admin selects from all available symbolic time periods.

  • The Dataview that the user can link to for additional details.

The admin can select from all available dataviews.

Note: The admin must insure that the users that receive the Absence Analysis tile on their Home page have an assigned Dataview Profile include the selected Dataview.
