Create workflow notifications
Although the mechanism for initiating workflow notifications varies with each application, the starting point is to create a workflow notification.
When you create a workflow notification, you:
- Assign a priority level (high, medium, or low).
- Identify how the notification is delivered based on the priority level: by e-mail, Control Center, or SMS message. For example, a high-priority alert might be sent to a user's email, Control Center, and via an SMS message; a low-priority alert might only go to the user's Control Center inbox.
To create a workflow notification, log on as an administrator and select New and select a notification type from the following options:
. Then, click Note: The fields that appear vary depending on the type of notification you are configuring.
