SeedUser Account Settings
What is SeedUser?
The SeedUser account is a user account with limited functionality that enables customers to log on to a tenant for the first time and create their initial set of users. In certain circumstances, it may also be needed to access newly created early access tenants or as a last resort to access a tenant if all other accounts are disabled (perhaps if something is wrong with your SSO configuration).
When you place your initial order or request additional tenants, you are asked to provide the email address for the person who will be your SeedUser. This email address is used to set and reset the password for the SeedUser. After you configure your system with additional administrative users, you can modify the email address associated with the SeedUser account.
The SeedUser Account Settings page lists the email and status of the SeedUser. To access this page from the Main Menu, select . This page enables you to lock and unlock access for the SeedUser account, as well as change the email address associated with the SeedUser. The only way to manage the password for the SeedUser account, however, is through the SeedUser email address, so make sure the account is either locked or mapped to a valid, trusted email address.
