Gaming information fields
The top portion of the People Information page contains read-only summary information about the employee. The Gaming section includes these information fields:
- Last Tip Calculation Processed — The date and time the tip calculator was last run for the employee.
-
Last Tip Calculation Based on Totalization — The date and time used to determine if the tip calculator runs for the employee. It is based on the last totalization date and time.
Note: When the tip calculator runs from the Events page, tips are only calculated for the employee if the date is after the Last Tip Calculation Processed date (this is when the ForceTipComplianceCalc Gaming property is not set to True). If the ForceTipComplianceCalc Gaming property is set to True, or if the tip calculator is run using the Calc Tip Compliance button on the People Information page, then tips are always calculated for the employee.
- Last Totalization — The date and time the employee was last totalized.

- Tip Method — Specify the tip method as Tip Compliance, Tip Declaration, Refer to Job, Neither Tip Compliance or Tip Declaration, or None and select the start and end dates. The tip method, when specified as Refer to Job, is determined by referring to the value defined in the job code. For more information, see Edit tip methods .
-
Toke Processing Method — Enter how the system processes toke distribution for the employee:
- Home Job — Always apply the employee's home job percentage to the qualifying hours for toke distribution calculation, even when the job they worked to participate in the toke pool is not their home job.
- Worked Job — Always apply the employee's worked job percentage to the qualifying hours for toke distribution calculation, even if their home job rate is greater.
- Greater of Home or Worked — When determining the percentage to apply to the employee's qualifying hours for toke distribution calculation, compare the employee's percentage for their home job to the percentage for the job they worked to be included in the toke pool, and use the greater of the two.
-
Exclude from Toke Processing — The employee is excluded from all toke distribution calculations.
Note: The system allows an employee who is excluded from toke processing to be assigned a committee amount or an adjustment amount of time or money. See Toke Pool Processing.
