Day divide across pay periods

Scheduling honors non-midnight day divides at the junction of two pay periods — a signed-off pay period and an open period. This allows managers to edit schedule items that are in the open period on a partially signed-off day.

Schedule items — shifts, tags, comments, shift locks and duration paycodes — are editable on a partially signed-off day (at the junction of two pay periods) if they fall within the open period. Schedule items that span both a signed-off and a non-signed-off period cannot be edited, and are indicated with the icon.

In the Schedule Planner, day cells are shaded gray to represent the portion of the day that is in a signed-off pay period for each employee. The non-signed-off (open) portion of the day is not shaded.
