Manage Root Certificates
Certificates are imported into one of the following two tabs. Cloud Services may load certificates to a Global area. Files posted in this area are visible to all tenants in the Universal Device Manager. Tenant administrators can load certificates to the Customer area only for tenants that they are permitted to access.
Global and Tenant tabs in the Manage Root Certificates page list the files residing in each area. Devices use the certificates listed in the Global tab to access the Universal Device Manager server.
You can import certificates from a file in PEM format into your system and later download these certificates to devices (both InTouch and 4500). A tenant administrator may add certificates to the Tenant tab if, for example, the devices must connect with a load balancer or some intermediate server.
To import a new certificate file:
- From the Devices main menu, select . The Manage Root Certificates workspace appears
- Select the Tenant tab. (The listings in the Global tab are read-only and for informational purposes only.)
- Click Tap Choose File to browse for the certificate file.
- Choose the file and click tap Open.
- Click Tap Import File to import and save the file.
To delete a certificate file from the database, select it from the list, and click tap Delete. You can select multiple certificate files to delete.
