Previous actions policies
Previous Actions policy rules are based on the occurrences of previous actions.
For example, if an employee receives three verbal warnings in a 12-month period, that employee should also receive a suspension. The policy can contain rules that trigger another action, trigger a notification or alert, reset or adjust a point balance, or move the employee to a different discipline level.
Create the previous action policy
- Select Administration > Application Setup > Attendance Setup > Attendance Policies.
- Select New.
- Select Previous Actions and then select Next.
- Enter the Policy Name and the Discipline Level to enforce when employee attendance violates this policy.

You must specify at least one response that is an action or a change to the discipline level.
- Click Save.
