Print from a Dataview
- From the Dataview toolbar,
click tap
Share
. - Click Tap Print. In the Print panel, the items that are available to print are displayed.
- Select the items that you want to print, and click tap Continue.
- A preview of the items you want to print appears in your browser. To print, use your browser's print capability.
What you'll see on the screen
- All items selected to print open in a new tab in the browser window.
- A stacked view of the items selected to print shows the tables at the top, followed by any associated charts.
- A header appears at the top of the screen. The header includes the refresh date and time, the context and location selectors, and the person’s name who requested the print job.
- The header also includes any refinements that have been applied to data in the table, such as filtering, sorting, and grouping.
- Icons on the screen, such as sort and filter icons in column headings, appear in the print preview and on the printout.
- Chart legends appear in the preview and printout, even if legends are turned off in the Display Settings of the Create/Edit Chart panel.
- If the table you print is greater than 1000 rows, only the first 1000 rows will print. An alert warns you if you try to print a table greater than 1000 rows.
- A number at the top of the screen indicates how many rows are displayed. If it is a partial data set, it does not show totals.
