Employment Length (Days)

DATES_EMPL_EMPLOYMENT_LENGTH

If the employee's current status is terminated then The Employment Length is calculated based on the terminated date minus the hire date.

If the employee's current status is not terminated, then the Employment Length is calculated as the current date minus the hire date.

If there is a rehire event present for employee ever then the Employment Length is calculated as the current date minus the rehire date. Otherwise its value is 0 (zero).

Years of Service (Days)

DATES_EMPL_YEARS_OF_SERVICE

If there is a rehire event present for employee and the employee's current state is terminated, then Years of Service is calculated as: [(latest termination date minus the rehire date) plus (the previous termination date minus the hire date)].

If there is a rehire event present for the employee and the employee's current state is not terminated, then Years of Service is calculated as: [(the current date minus the rehire date) plus (the termination date minus the hire date)].

If there is no rehire event present for the employee and the employee's current state is terminated then Years of Service calculated as the termination date minus the hire date.

If there is no rehire event present for the employee and the employee's current state is not terminated, then Years of Service is calculated as the current date minus the hire date.
