Use Setup
Use the Setup pages to configure data structures for the business model.
- Location hierarchy — The hierarchical structure of a business's site. You can name the levels of an location hierarchy according to how your business is set up. For example, if you are creating a location hierarchy to represent levels in a retail operation, you can use the following hierarchical levels: Region → Branch → Company → Store
- Location Attributes Groups and Attributes — Different types of information that are specific to a site in the hierarchy. For example, a site in the hierarchy could have an attribute group called Store Operating Hours that includes two attributes: Store Opening and Store Closing.
- Fiscal Year — The organization’s financial year structure for budgeting purposes. For a time frame on which to base a budget plan, set up the fiscal year's start and end dates and number of days in a year.
- Tags — Tags are used to highlight and group calculations. In Dataviews and exports, you can use tags to filter calculations. Tags can also be used as references in calculations when using the sum tag operator.
