Alert Subscriptions

Alert subscriptions manage when alert notifications are generated based on certain conditions. Alerts are delivered by corporate email or BigQuery:

  • Email: Aggregated notifications are emailed to one or more users based on subscription criteria. For example, subscribe to alerts for Pipeline Failures related to authentication issues or Wrapper Failures of specific scheduled jobs. Configure the email alerts to be sent to one or multiple recipients every quarter hour, hour, or day. Use your workplace/corporate email only.
Note: Personal email address domains are not supported; for example, you cannot use @yahoo.com or @gmail.com email addresses.
  • BigQuery: When the condition occurs, Data Hub BigQuery notifications display in your Data Hub BigQuery table in the pipeline, wrapper, and mapping alert views. For example, subscribe to alerts to be notified when a particular wrapper fails to run or finishes running.

You view, add, edit, and delete subscriptions from the Alert Subscriptions page. To see more about working with alerts, including an overview of alert conditions and categories, see Alert Management.

Note: To receive email and BigQuery alerts for the same conditions, add two subscriptions, one for email and one for BigQuery.
