View Employee Information

When managers view employee timecards or Dataviews, they can quickly view employee information in the Employee Glance. To access the Employee Glance:

  • On the Employee Summary page and in a Dataview, right-click an employee's name. The Employee Glance accessed from these location includes Quick Action buttons.
  • In the timecard, right-click the employee's name or picture or, click tap Employee Information .
Note: If a manager does not have Employee Glance Settings assigned in their Display Profile, then the glance displays only the employee's name and, if accessed from the Employee Summary page or a Dataview, Quick Action buttons.

Employee Glance information

The Employee Glance displays employee specific information grouped in categories, such as:

  • General Information (Manager, Primary Job, Primary Labor Category)
  • Contact Information (Email, Phone Number)
  • Timekeeping (Pay Rule, Employment Terms, and so on)
  • Scheduling (Work Type, Standard Hours)
  • Accruals (Accrual Profile, Cascade Profile)

For employee information that is effective-dated, such as Employment Terms or Accrual Policies, this information appears based on the selected timeframe of the timecard or Dataview.

The categories and the information in each category depend on the Employee Glance configuration. For information on glance configuration, see Employee Glance Settings. The information in each category displays according to the logged-in user’s locale policy (for example, date formats display in the locale format).
