Setup Data Manager supported data

The following section describes data supported by SDM.

Setup Data Manager covers most configurations, except for the following items due to specific limitations:

  • Delegate Profiles
  • Unpublished Reports
  • Corrections (used with Integrations)
  • Support Account Settings
  • Seed User Account Settings
Note:
  • Integrations can only be copied directly between tenants. They cannot be copied to a file and later imported from that file.
  • The category of Domain Events is supported in SDM.

About labor forecast limits

Setup Data Manager (SDM) enables customers to transfer Time application setup data — including Labor Forecast Limits (LFLs) — between WFM tenants (typically from a UAT or NPR environment to Production). SDM resolves items by name, not by internal ID, and processes each LFL as an independent unit within a single publish operation.

Due to the architecture of how SDM validates and applies LFL job assignments, certain multi-LFL reconfiguration scenarios are not supported through SDM and must be performed manually in the target environment. This document describes those limitations so that administrators can plan their configuration workflows accordingly.
