      The business structure enables you to define a hierarchical structure for your organization, including types, locations, and jobs.

Users can configure and personalize configuration of the application for an optimal user experience.

Configure business structure attributes

Create new attribute entries with the desired start day of week and assign them to the appropriate location in the business structure tree. Go to Main Menu > Administration > Time application setup > Business Structure Setup > Business Structure Attributes

To remove an assignment from specific locations, deselect them from the tree and save.

Tip: SDM Support: Business Structure Attributes can be exported and imported between environments using Setup Data Manager (SDM).

Do one of the following:
- To create a new attribute, select New.
- To edit an existing attribute, select the appropriate attribute and select Edit.
Enter a name and description.
From Start Day of Week, make the appropriate selection.
If this location requires intra-day volume distribution, check Generate Volume Intervals. This is one of two required settings for enabling volume intervals. See Generate Volume Intervals for additional step required in forecast planner settings.
In the Business Structure tree, select the locations that will use this start day.
Select Save.
