Attendance Actions
On this page you can complete the following:
- Create new actions
- Duplicate actions from existing attendance actions Responses to employee occurrences, positive or negative.
- Edit existing actions
- Edit manual adjustments
Create the attendance action
All actions begin with active status.
- Navigate to Administration > Application Setup > Attendance Setup > Attendance Actions.
- Enter an Attendance Action Name that reflects the purpose of the action.
- (Optional)Enter a Description.
- Enter a Display Name, enter a name that appears throughout Attendance Setup.
- Enter a Code , an abbreviation for the attendance action.
- Select the Action Effective Date — When you select the effective date, remember that there might be a difference between the date and time that an action is triggered or recognized, and the date and time that the employee knows about the action
For Example: When the manager administers the action to the employee and the action is considered completed. When you choose the date keep in mind:
- Action Triggered Date — The date when the attendance processor first triggers the attendance action.
- Action Completed Date — The date when the attendance action status is marked as completed.
- (Optional) Select Auto Complete Action.
- (Optional) Select Auto Forward Documents options.
- Select one or more recipients of the documents.
- Enter a Subject and Message.
- In Document Template A type of form that is completed programmatically or manually by appropriate personnel. The template becomes a repository of relevant employee data and associated files that appear in a consistent view and that aligns with the processing workflow. Name, choose a template from the drop-down list for each Locale as needed.
- Click Tap Save.
