Pattern templates data access profiles

Pattern templates A repeating pattern of shifts and paycodes that is saved with a name, but without dates or assigned employees. define a repeating pattern of shifts, availability, paycodes A category of time or money that employees earn, for example, Regular Hours, Bonus, or Sick., and schedule tags A graphic on the schedule that identifies a specific characteristic that applies to a specific employee on a specific day. Permit a manager to use one or many pattern templates by creating a Data Access Profile (DAP) for this purpose and assigning it to the manager. To create the DAP:

  1. From Administration > Application Setup > Access Profiles > Data Access Profiles, select Pattern Templates.
  2. In the Pattern Templates Data Access Profiles workspace, click New or select a pattern template data access profile and click Edit or Duplicate.
  3. If new, give the DAP a name and description.
  4. Select the pattern template or pattern templates from the Available Pattern Templates box and move them to the Selected Pattern Templates box.
  5. Click Save & Return.
