Add punches from the Employee Summary page

  1. Click Add Punch or right-click in the selected employee area and click Add Punch in the Employee Selected box. Tap More Actions and then tap Add Punch
  2. In the Add Punch panel, enter the following:
    • Date — Enter the date for the punch. Use the calendar to help select dates.
    • Time — Enter the time of the punch in h:mm a. You must enter a time.
    • Override — Select the type of punch for the override.
    • Cancel Deduction — Select a deduction to cancel.
    • Transfer — To transfer the punch to another business structure, cost center, labor category, or job. Click Tap More... and select the appropriate business structure, cost center, labor category, and job from the Transfer panel. When finished, click tap Apply.
    • Add Comment — To add a comment, click tap Add Comment, then select a comment from the drop-down list. You can also add one or more notes.
  3. Click Tap Apply in the Add Punch The entries on a timecard that mark the beginning (in-punch) or end (out-punch) of a work interval, such as the beginning of a shift or transfer. panel.
