Maintenance Job Status
The maintenance job synchronizes configuration data between UKG Pro Workforce Management and Data Hub. When the job finishes, it has a status of Success or Failure. This status displays in the Portal, showing when the job ran successfully and when it had errors.
From the Maintenance Job Status page, view the name and status of maintenance jobs run within the past seven days, and the date and time they were last updated.
The maintenance job runs nightly. Your Data Hub administrator may also run the maintenance job on an as needed basis. These on-demand jobs are in addition to the regular nightly schedule.
Note: Maintenance jobs are not started from the Portal. See your administrator for more details.
The maintenance job runs nightly and synchronizes information between UKG Pro Workforce Management and Data Hub and between BigQuery and Data Hub. The information includes new and changed configurations needed in Data Hub so that you can configure pipeline setting values and mappings. Then, when a paycode A category of time or money that employees earn, for example, Regular Hours, Bonus, or Sick. is mapped, it is delivered to BiqQuery's data structure which uses the mapping information.
BigQuery needs to know about any new or changed mappings. For example, if new paycodes are added to UKG Pro Workforce Management, the nightly maintenance job processes the new paycodes and deliver them to BigQuery. After the configuration maintenance job runs successfully, map the paycodes, then run the wrapper/pipelines associated with the paycodes.
When you do not see expected configurations, including new paycodes from UKG Pro Workforce Management, review the recent maintenance jobs. A current Failed status indicates potential problems that may need your attention, including a paycode not delivered to Data Hub or a mapped paycode not loaded into BigQuery.
