Accruals Profiles
After you select Accruals from the Standard Profiles landing page, the Accruals Profiles list page opens. This page is a grid that displays the current Accruals Profiles and the attributes of each profile. To modify the attribute headings, click
Note: The Accruals Profiles listed on this page are different from the WFM Accruals Profiles.
- You can edit the existing profiles, create new ones, or export the page to an Excel .csv file.
- To create an Accruals Profile, click Add
. - To edit an Accruals Profile, select a profile from the list and click Edit
. - To select more than one profile, hold down the Ctrl key while selecting profiles.
- To select the maximum number of profiles (100 rows), click Select Maximum
- To export the list page to an Excel .csv file, click Export
- To create an Accruals Profile, click Add
- If you select Add
or Edit , the Accruals Profile edit page opens where you can add or edit the following attributes: Note:- Select No Change if you do not want the profile to overwrite the previous value when the profile is applied to an updated employee. If you select No Change and the profile is assigned to a new employee, the default value for the field is assigned, which is usually nothing, or blank, depending on the existing behaviors.
- Select Unassign to remove or end date an existing value. This is typically used for employee job changes, leave cases, or terminations. If you select Unassign for a new employee, the employee is assigned default values.
- Profile Name — Enter or edit the Accruals Profile name. The name must be unique.
- Status — Select Active or Inactive.
- Accrual Profile — Select a WFM Accrual Profile. These profiles contains accrual policies, which determine how employees accrue their time, money, or both. Accrual Profiles are defined in Main Menu
- FTE Percentage — Select a full-time equivalent percentage from the list. Full-Time Equivalency (FTE) is a number greater than 0 and less than or equal to 100 that the system uses in calculating accruals. You can express Full-Time Equivalency as a percentage or as a ratio of Employee Hours to Full-Time Hours. Enter an effective date to indicate when changes to an employee’s FTE take effect.
For example, suppose a full-time employee works 40 hours per week and you are creating a profile for a part-time employee who works 20 hours per week. You could express this full-time equivalency as either a percentage (= 50%) or as a ratio (Employee Hours = 20, Full-Time Hours = 40).
- Cascade Profile — Select a Cascade Profile from the list. Cascade Profiles contain cascading policies that define the paycodes A category of time or money that employees earn, for example, Regular Hours, Bonus, or Sick. used to trigger cascading accrual takings. For example, a cascading policy that allows the system to take time from both vacation accrual holdings and sick accrual holdings if an employee does not have an adequate amount of vacation time accrued.
