Dataview Management
- Employee Dataviews show employee-related data, such as hours worked by employees with a specific job.
- Business Structure Represents the logical structure of an organization as it concerns staffing. It contains the locations and jobs to which an employee may be assigned. Dataviews show business structure data, such as overtime costs by locations in a district. Users can "drill down" to the employee level to see, for example, who is responsible for overtime costs.
- Business Structure Time Series Dataviews (Analytics only) show Analytics data over time. Metrics Measures and tracks workforce performance by comparing planned with actual workload or coverage, or by showing variances at any organizational level. and KPIs from the Analytics component can be summarized by calendar day, week, month or quarter to allow users to identify trends in key areas, such as overtime and absenteeism.

To begin managing Dataviews:
- Select Main Menu
> Administration > Application Setup > Display Preferences > Information Access > Dataview Management. A table with all the available Dataviews is displayed. - Click Tap Filter
and type a partial string in the empty row below the column headings to search for the Dataview that you want to view or edit. - Click Tap Column Selection
- Click Tap Add
and select Employee View or Business Structure View to create a new Dataview.
