Attendance Profiles
Attendance profiles contain attendance policies and control the order in which the system processes the policies and their associated rules.
All employees who have Attendance product licenses assigned from the user interface are automatically assigned to the empty Attendance profile. This profile is effective dated from the beginning of time until the end of time. After you have created attendance policies and profiles, assign the employees to the attendance profiles that you have created.
An employee can be assigned to only one Attendance Profile at a time.
Create an attendance profile
- Select Administration > Application Setup > Attendance Setup > Attendance Profiles.
- Click New.
- Enter a Profile Name.
- (Optional) Enter a Description that explains the profile.
- In Version Effective Date, choose one:
- Select a time span
- Select Create new version effective to make the profile effective dated from a specific date, and then enter or select the date using the calendar
- Select Update this version if you want your edits to be effective at a date in the future or past for all employees assigned to this profile.
- In the Discipline Levels Transfer an employee from one attendance policy to another discipline level following occurrences of attendance events. Discipline levels are also referred to as steps. column, select a discipline level. The Available Policies column displays the policies that apply to the selected discipline level.
- In Available Policies select one or more attendance policies. Double-click to move the policy into the Selected Policies box.
- Click Save.
