Download a Dataview that exceeds display limitations
If the number of records in an Employee or Business Structure Represents the logical structure of an organization as it concerns staffing. It contains a hierarchy of locations that contain jobs to which an employee may be assigned. Dataview A configurable tool for analysing data and taking actions on a group of employees or an organisation. exceeds the threshold limitation for displaying it, when you click tap the Dataview, a download option automatically opens so that you can create a download file of the data.
Note: You must have the appropriate privileges to access downloads.
- From the Dataview Library, click tap the Dataview that you want to view.
- If the Dataview has too many records to display, you receive a message asking whether you want to create a download of your selection. The message includes a Download button.

Click Tap the Download button to create a download file of the data. You are automatically directed to the Downloads page where you can access the files.
- Select the download file of your choice. It is downloaded in comma-separated value (.csv) format and you can open it with the application of your choice. It is stored locally in your downloads folder.
- If you navigate away from the Downloads page and want to return to it, from the Dataview Library click tap Navigate to Downloads
in the upper left of the page.
Delete a running or completed downloaded Dataview
You can delete pending or completed downloaded Dataview files.
- Select single, multiple, or all downloads available on the Downloads page by using one of the following methods:
- Tick one or more selections and click tap Delete
. - Use the Select All button to select all the records and click tap Delete
.
- Tick one or more selections and click tap Delete
- A message opens with the prompt: . "You are about to delete the download. Do you want to proceed?"
- Click Tap Yes or No. (The default selection is No).
- Downloads are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
- After a download is deleted, it can no longer be retrieved.
