Configure UKG Pro Security Roles and Access Rights
The System Consultant works with the System Administrator to grant web access rights to web user roles. When accessing UKG Pro’s Role Administration Web Access Rights page, you may see two different Workforce Management menu items. After running the corresponding SQL Scripts for the registered product keys, both menu items’ web access rights should be disabled.
Enable UKG Pro Web Access Rights
You can enable web access rights for the new Workforce Management pages by role for Employees, Managers, and Administrators.
Employee
To enable access to the employee pages:
Navigation: UKG Pro Menu > System Configuration > Role Administration > select a Role > Web Access Rights > Myself > Workforce Management
To access the employee pages:
Navigation: UKG Pro Menu > Myself > Workforce Management
Manager
To enable access to the manager pages:
Navigation: UKG Pro Menu > System Configuration > Role Administration > select a Role > Web Access Rights > My Team > Workforce Management
To access the manager pages:
Navigation: UKG Pro Menu > My Team > Workforce Management
Administrator
After registering the product keys for UKG Dimensions (WFDT), the Workforce Management Administrator role type is available for selection in Role Administration. Enabling access to the Workforce Management Administrator role type allows you to provide access to the Workforce Management Administration menu.
To enable access to the administrator pages:
Navigation: UKG Pro Menu > System Configuration > Role Administration

From the Role Administration page, select Search to select an existing Role or select Add to a new role. The Add/Change Roles page displays.

From the Add/Change Roles page, the Role Type column, check the Workforce Management Administrator box. If you are adding a new role, enter a Role Name and Description. You can also choose to include this role in Business Intelligence (Cognos), as needed.

Select Next. The Web Access Rights page displays.

From the Web Access Rights page, check the box to enable access to the Workforce Management administration menu.

Select Save.
