Configure Access to Healthcare Productivity
Access rights determine the functional components and data that people can view.
- Generic Data Access Profiles (GDAP) — Control access to configured component data.
- Function Access Profiles (FAP) — Control access to functions and actions.
Before you start, Assign Licenses for Healthcare Productivity.

- Develop a strategy for who gets access to which functions and components.
- Identify all roles and people who need to analyze productivity, which functions they need to run, which integrations they need to run, which documents they need, and who needs to review results.
- Complete the Access Plan for Healthcare Productivity.

Configure the Generic Data Access Profile (GDAP) to select the integrations that a person can run.
- Log in as an administrator.
- Click Tap Main Menu
> Administration > Application Setup > Access Profiles > Generic Data Access Profiles. - Create, edit, or remove a profile:
- Click Tap New. Enter a Name.
- Select a profile. Click Tap Edit or Duplicate.
- Select a profile. Click Tap Delete. Click Tap OK.
- From Setup Category, select Integrations.
- From Setup Item, select:
- Add integrations to the profile. These integrations must be installed in order to be available.
- From Available, select the items and click tap the right arrow
. Alternatively, click tap the double right arrow to select all items. - (Optional) Remove items. From Selected, select the items and click tap the left arrow
. Alternatively, click tap the double left arrow to remove all items.
- From Available, select the items and click tap the right arrow
- Click Tap Save & Return.
- Repeat for the next person.

Configure the access control points (ACP) of a Function Access Profile (FAP) to give access to reports, metrics Measures and tracks workforce performance by comparing planned with actual workload or coverage, or by showing variances at any organizational level., KPIs, and integrations for Healthcare Productivity.
This topic groups FAP settings according to the most common types of personnel who configure and assess productivity measures. These groupings are suggestions, and your configurations may differ.

- Click Tap Main Menu
> Administration > Application Setup > Access Profiles > Function Access Profiles. - Create or edit a profile:
- Click Tap New. Enter a Name. Example: Healthcare Productivity
- Select a profile. Click Tap Edit or Duplicate.
- (Optional) Enter a Description.
- From Function, select the role and functions for the following types of people.
- Click the plus (+) signs for child roles or functions.
- All functions are disallowed by default.
Application and integration consultant
Designs and builds integrations
- Select Manager—Common Setup.
- In Integrations: Select Allowed in Access Scope to monitor, run, schedule, and install integrations; this setting allows access to all of the sub-access points for integrations.
- In Design Integrations select Allowed in Access Scope to configure and build integrations. This gives access to the Integration Template Designer (the Boomi™ application).
- In Manager—System Configuration > Healthcare Productivity Service > Access Scope, select Allowed to enable system access to healthcare productivity data and to allow managers to run productivity reports.
Administrator
Configures the system for Healthcare Productivity
- Select Manager—Common Setup.
- Give access to the Analytics Labor Type in People Information:
Select People Editor > Employee Group > Information View.
In Analytics Labor Type, select Allowed in any of Add or View.
- In Integrations: Select Allowed in Access Scope to monitor, run, schedule, and install integrations; this setting allows access to all of the sub-access points for integrations.
Note: To customize integrations settings, see Configure Access to Integrations.
- Select Manager—System Configuration.
- Select Setup > Integrations Setup: In Access Scope, select Allowed to enable full access to integrations connections settings, extension tables, and database commands.
- Select KPI Key Performance Indicator measures the result of an activity in an organisation so that you can compare it to operational or strategic goals and attempt to improve performance. Builder Setup. Do one of the following:
- To enable access to all KPI Builder and Healthcare Productivity settings, in KPI Builder Setup, select Allowed in Access Scope.
- Select the features individually:
For each of Mapping Categories, Metrics, or KPIs, select Allowed in any of Add, Edit, or View.
In Target Management > Standard Target Management, select Allowed in Access Scope to enable access to Standard Targets for core Analytics.
In Target Management > Healthcare Productivity Target Management, select Allowed in Access Scope to enable access to Healthcare Productivity Targets for Healthcare Productivity.
In Healthcare Analytics, select Allowed in Access Scope to enable access to configure the following for Healthcare Productivity: Agency Definition, Work Unit Work units (WU) define departments, work groups, and combine business structure nodes or jobs into single entities for productivity analysis. All Healthcare Analytics reports require work units. Definition & Labor Mapping, Work Unit Hyperfind A search engine that filters and selects groups of employees through queries that specify conditions or locations (criteria)., and Work Unit Hyperfind Profiles.
- Select Fiscal Calendar Import: In Access Scope, select Allowed to enable the Fiscal Calendar Import integration to import the fiscal calendar.
- For each person who needs access to healthcare productivity data, in Healthcare Productivity Service > Access Scope, select Allowed to enable system access to healthcare productivity data and to allow managers to run productivity reports.
Note: This access point must be set to Allowed so that Data Hub can extract healthcare productivity data. See the (missing or bad snippet) topic.
Manager — reports
Runs and schedules reports
Note: For general reports settings, see the ACPs for reporting functionality topic.
- Select Manager — Department Manager.
- In Reports > Run Reports, select Allowed in Access Scope.
- In Reports Scheduling, select Allowed in Access Scope.
- In Manager—System Configuration > Healthcare Productivity Service > Access Scope, select Allowed to enable system access to healthcare productivity data and to allow managers to run productivity reports.
Manager — integrations
Runs integrations but cannot see the payroll feed and cannot see the wages of employees
- Select Manager—Common Setup.
- In Run Integrations, select Allowed in Add to run integrations and edit available parameters.
- In View Integration Results, select Allowed in View to see detailed results of integration runs.
- In View the files of an integration displayed in the integration run details, select Allowed in Access Scope to display the files for integrations.
- In Manager—System Configuration > Healthcare Productivity Service > Access Scope, select Allowed to enable system access to healthcare productivity data and to allow managers to run productivity reports.
- Click Tap Save & Return.
- Repeat for the next person.

Make sure that the access profiles are associated with the relevant managers or administrators. If you don't have access to People Information, contact the administrator who does have access.
- Click Tap Main Menu
. Select Maintenance > People Information. Select a person. - In Employee, select Access Profiles.
- Select the:
Function Access Profile = the FAP
Display Profile = the GDAP
Locale Profile
Notification Profile
- Click Tap Save
. - Repeat for other people.
