Configure the Agency Export and Import for Healthcare Analytics

The Agency Export and Import integrations export and import daily transactional data to roll up to pay periods for agency employees separately from that of regular employees. These integrations provide data for analytics so that you can monitor and control agency costs. Agency labor is expensive.

  1. Configure the Data Access Profile (DAP) to give access to paycodes A category of time or money that employees earn, for example, Regular Hours, Bonus, or Sick. for the Agency Export and Import integrations as follows:
    • Click Tap Main Menu  > Administration > Application Setup > Access Profiles > Data Access Profiles > Paycodes.

  2. Configure the Function Access Profile (FAP) to give Manager—System Configuration access to Application Setup > KPI Key Performance Indicator measures the result of an activity in an organisation so that you can compare it to operational or strategic goals and attempt to improve performance. Builder > Healthcare Analytics > Agency Definition. See Configure Access to Healthcare Analytics.
  3. Configure paycodes, assign labor types to people, and map pay rules to agency labor types; see Configure Labor for Healthcare Analytics.

Create a hyperfind A search engine that filters and selects groups of employees through queries that specify conditions or locations (criteria). that contains all of the pay rules that are assigned to the agency labor types.

Caution: If this hyperfind is not configured, the integration uses the All People hyperfind.

  1. Select Main Menu  > Administration > Application Setup > Common Setup > Hyperfinds.

  2. Click Tap Create .
  3. In Description, enter Agency Employees.
  4. Select Timekeeper > Pay Rules.
  5. Click Include.
  6. Select the pay rule that is assigned to the Agency labor type from the Pay Rules list.
  7. Click Add.
  8. Repeat for more agency pay rules.
  9. Click Tap Apply.
  10. Click Tap Save.
  1. Install Healthcare Analytics Integrations > Agency Export and Agency Import.
  2. Configure Integration Sets for Healthcare Analytics: Group and schedule the payroll and agency integrations into an integration set in the following order:
    1. Import payroll: Payroll integration.
    2. Export agency: AgencyExport integration.
    3. Import agency: AgencyImport integration.
