Configure shift groups

Shift groups enable managers to categorize and manage collections of shifts as a unit. Managers can create shift groups and take group actions on them directly within the Schedule Planner. For more information, refer to Shift groups.

To configure the shift group functionality:

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > Administration > Time application setup > System Configuration > Feature Switch, and enable the Shift Groups feature switch.
  2. Navigate to Main Menu > Administration > Time application setup > Access Profiles > Function Access Profiles:
    1. Select the manager function access profile you want to give access to.
    2. Expand Manager - Department Manager > Scheduling.
    3. Set the Shift Groups access control point to Allowed.
    4. Expand APIs > Rest API.
    5. Set the Scheduling Shift Group access control point to Allowed.
    6. Select Save.
