MFA Policy

In the MFA Policy page, you can view, select, and update which UKG Authentication multi-factor authentication (MFA) policy methods to use.

Note: MFA Policy is available only on tenants that use UKG Authentication.

Prior to UKG Authentication, you could not select which methods to enable without UKG assistance. After the upgrade to UKG Authentication, UKG assistance is no longer needed. Additionally, the methods enabled prior to upgrade will enabled by default after upgrade, and you can make changes at any time.

Navigate to Main Menu > Administration > Time application setup > Common Setup > MFA Policy .
Check the boxes for at least one of the following authentication methods:
- Enable Authenticator— By token.
- Enable SMS— By text message.
- Enable Email— By email message.
Note: The Enable SMS option is an added feature. If you had this option prior to your upgrade to UKG Authentication, but do not see this option after upgrade, create a case with Support.
