Explicitly assign a zone set or shift set to locations.
A location can be associated with either one schedule zone set or one workload shift set.
A location without an explicit assignment uses the set from the next parent location.
Example: Assign a zone set to City. All locations in City use that zone set unless explicitly assigned another zone set.
- From the Main Menu, select Administration > Application Setup > Scheduler Setup > Workload Setup.
- Select the Schedule Zone Sets tab or the Workload Shift Sets tab.
- Select the shift set.
- Click Assign to Location.
- Select the locations.
- Click Save & Close. The assignment is effective immediately.
Note: Changes that take effect during a schedule period affect the display of information in the Workload Planner. To display staffing data for a time span when location assignments change, select a time period of stable data. If you change a location assignment for a zone set, the data in the staffing plan for the old location assignment is deleted. You cannot display staffing data for the period after the effective date of the change.
