Configure Schedule Planner Profiles
You assign Schedule Planners to a Schedule Planner Profile, which is then assigned to a Display Profile. Each employee and manager is assigned a Display Profile in the People Information component. You can also configure and assign a Schedule Manager tile that corresponds to the Schedule Planner.
- From the Main Menu, go to Administration > Application Setup > Display Preferences > Display Profile Building Blocks and open the Schedule Planner Profile page. The Schedule Planner Profiles that are available are listed on the page.
- To create a new profile, click Create
. - Enter or change the name and description. If you are editing a profile, select one of the following:
- Save changes everywhere that the named entity is used to change the selected profile.
- Save as a new named entity to create a new profile based on the selected profile. If you select this option, you must also change the name of the profile.
- In the Schedule Planners section, you can:
- Click Create
- Select a Schedule Planner and click Edit
to change the Schedule Planner as described in Configure Schedule Planner. - Select a Schedule Planner and click Assign
to assign a Schedule Planner to the Schedule Planner Profile. You can assign multiple Schedule Planners and you can remove an assignment by clicking Un-Assign
- Click Create
- In the Manager Tile section, you can:
- Click Create
to create a new Schedule Manager Tile as described in Configure schedule manager tile. - Select a listed manager tile and click Edit
to change the Schedule Manager Tile as described in Configure schedule manager tile - Select a Manager tile and click Assign
to assign the tile to the Schedule Planner Profile. You can assign multiple tiles and you can remove an assignment by clicking Un-Assign
- Click Create
- When finished, click Save.
Assign, unassign, or re-order Schedule Planners
Assign Schedule Planners to a Schedule Planner Profile.
- Type the name of the profile that you want to create.
- Type an optional description.
- In the Schedule Planner list, click the Schedule Planners to assign to this profile. A checkmark appears after the name of the selected Schedule Planner.
- Click Assign
to assign the Schedule Planner to the profile.
Unassign Schedule Planners from a Schedule Planner profile.
- Select the Schedule Planner to unassign
- Click Unassign
. The checkmark next to the name disappears.
Re-order Schedule Planners within a Schedule Planner profile.
- Select the Schedule Planner to re-order.
- Click Re-Order Selection. The Assigned Schedule Planners window appears.
- Select the Schedule Planner to re-order.
- Click the up or down arrows to move the Schedule Planner up or down in the order.
- Click Save Order.
Edit or create a Schedule Planner to include in the profile
You can edit any Schedule Planner from the Schedule Planner profile page, or create a new Schedule Planner.
- Either:
- Select (highlight) an existing Schedule Planner and click Edit
. - Click New
.
- Select (highlight) an existing Schedule Planner and click Edit

Assign or unassign manager tile
Assign a schedule manager tile to a Schedule Planner profile.
- Type the name of the profile that you want to create.
- Type an optional description.
- In the Manager Tiles list, click the manager tile to assign to this profile. A checkmark appears after the name of the selected manager tile.
- Click Assign
to assign the manager tile to the profile.
Unassign a manager tile from a Schedule Planner profile.
- Select the manager tile to unassign
- Click Unassign
. The checkmark next to the name disappears.
Edit or create a Schedule Planner to include in the profile
You can edit any manager tile from the Schedule Planner profile page, or create a new manager tile.
- Either:
- Select (highlight) an existing manager tile and click Edit
. - Click New
.
- Select (highlight) an existing manager tile and click Edit
