Contributing paycode sets are used for hours to be distributed to count toward a contributing shift or in payroll preparation. A contributing shift is considered when determining an employee's eligibility for holiday credits. A contributing shift must fulfill a set of requirements, including shift length, paycode, day of week, and days prior to the holiday.
To define a contributing paycode set:
- Navigate to Administration > Application Setup > Pay Policies > Paycodes > Contributing Paycodes.
- Enter a name.
- Make this set available in Contributing Shifts.
- Move the contributing paycodes from the Available to the Selected box.
- Click Save & Return.
