Configure a timekeeping alert profile
On the Main Menu
Create a new profile
- On the Timekeeping Alert profile page, click tap Create
. - Enter a Timekeeping Alert Profile Name.
- (Optional) Enter a Timekeeping Alert Profile Description.
- Click Tap Create
. Add Timekeeping Alerts then select Save. Select an alert type from the drop-down: Note: Only Generic notifications with the Recipient list will be supplied at runtime option selected will appear in the Notification drop-down.
- Select Core Hours Violation and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Employee Justified Exception and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Manager Justified Exception and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Auto-Resolved Exception and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Missed Punch and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Long Break and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Late In and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Early Out and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Unexcused absence and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Invalid Duration and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Accrual Balance and then complete the following:
- Select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter Type from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter from the drop-down.
- Select the Condition Type from the drop-down.
- Enter the Threshold.
- Select Daily Shift Differential and then complete the following:
- Select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter Type from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter from the drop-down.
- Select the Condition Type from the drop-down.
- Enter the Threshold.
- Select Weekend Differential and then complete the following:
- Select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter Type from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter from the drop-down.
- Select the Condition Type from the drop-down.
- Enter the Threshold.
- Select Schedule Deviation and then complete the following:
- Select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter Type from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter from the drop-down.
- Select the Condition Type from the drop-down.
- Enter the Threshold.
- Select Early In and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Late Out and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Overtime and then complete the following:
- Select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter Type from the drop-down.
- Select the Parameter from the drop-down.
- Select the Condition Type from the drop-down.
- Enter the Threshold.
- Select Timecard edited by someone else and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Timecard edited by manager after employee approval and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Timecard totals modified after approval and then select the Notification from the drop-down.
- Select Overtime Approaching and then select the Notification, Overtime Rule, and enter the Hours Before. Hours Before is the number of hours before overtime is reached that the notification will be sent. See Proactive Compliance: Overtime Alerts and Notifications.
- Select Overtime Reached and then select the Notification and the Overtime Rule. See Proactive Compliance: Overtime Alerts and Notifications.
- Select Projected Overtime and then select the Notification and the Overtime Rule.
- Note: For the Overtime Approaching, Overtime Reached, and Projected Overtime alert types, the same overtime rule cannot be referenced in more than one alert profile. If you need to use an overtime rule with the same configuration more than once, create a duplicate overtime rule.
- (Optional) Edit or Delete Timekeeping Alert Types:
- To edit an existing Timekeeping Alert Type, select an alert type and then click tap Edit
. Make any edits and then select Save. - To Delete a Timekeeping Alert Type, select an alert type and then click tap Delete
. Select Yes.
- To edit an existing Timekeeping Alert Type, select an alert type and then click tap Edit
- Click Tap Save.
Edit a profile
- On the Timekeeping Alert profile page, select an alert profile and click tap Edit
. - Make any edits to the profile.
- Click Tap Save.
Delete a profile
- On the Timekeeping Alert profile page, select an alert profile and click tap Delete
. - Select Yes.
