Create Notification Profiles

Notification Profiles define how workflow notifications are delivered: email, or Control Center. If you change a user's Notification Profile, the delivery methods for that user changes.

To work with Notification Profiles, log on as an administrator and select Administration > Application Setup > Event/Notification > Notification Profile. In the Notification Profile workspace, you can:

  • Click Configure to add a new profile.
  • Select a profile, then click Duplicate or Edit to modify a profile.
  • Select one or more Notification Profiles, and then click Delete. Click OK on the confirmation box to delete.

If you click New, Duplicate, or Edit, the Notifications Profile editor opens.

  1. Enter or modify the Display Name and Description.
  2. For each priority level listed (High Priority, Medium Priority, and Low Priority), move one or more destinations from the Available column to the Selected column. The following destinations are available:
    • Control Center — The recipient is alerted by an incremented number next to Control Center icon available on each page. When selected the notification can be viewed in the details panel or on the Control Center page.
    • E-mail — Messages are sent via your e-mail system.

  3. Click Save.
