Configure batch groups
With batch groups, you can group batch events by location, business function, and so forth, and run them simultaneously.
- Select Application Setup > Common Setup > Batch Processing.
- Select the Batch Groups tab and complete one of the following:
- New — Click Tap New to create a new batch group.
- Edit — Select a batch group and click tap Edit to copy it.
- Enter or edit a Name and Description.
- Add or edit batch events:
- Select tasks from Available.
- Click the right arrow, or click the double right arrow to select all items.
- (Optional) Remove items. Select tasks from Selected. Click the left arrow, or click the double left arrow to remove all items.
- The batch events run in order from top to bottom of the Selected list. Order batch tasks in a logical sequence.
To change the order:
- Select the batch tasks.
- Click the up or down arrows.
- Click Save and Return.
