Process Profiles setup page

Caution:

Before you start

To be able to access templates for Process Profiles, your Function Access Profile must have the Add Templates to Process Profiles function access control point set to "Allowed." To do this:

  1. Select Administration > Application Setup from the Main Menu
  2. Select Access Profiles > Function Access Profiles.
  3. Expand Manager - Common Setup, select Add Templates to Process Profiles, and set Add, Edit, Delete, or View, to Allowed to add, edit, remove, or view process templates for Process Profiles.
  4. Click Tap Save & Return.

A Process Profile defines the Business Processes that an employee can access. You use the Process Profiles page to create, edit, or delete process profiles. You can then add deployed Business Processes to process profiles and assign those profiles to people in your organization.

  1. From the Main Menu, select Administration > Application Setup > Business Process Setup > Process Profiles.

  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click New to create a process profile, then enter a Name
    • Select a profile and click Edit. You cannot edit All Process Templates or Empty Profile.
    • Select a profile and click Delete, then click OK to confirm. You cannot delete All Process Templates or Empty Profile.
  3. Select the desired items to include in your profiles:
    • From Available Items, select the items and click the right arrow . Alternatively, click the double right arrow  to select all items.
    • (Optional) Remove items. From Selected Items, select the items and click the left arrow . Alternatively, click the double left arrow  to remove all items.
  4. Click Tap Save
  5. Associate the process profiles to managers or administrators
    1. Click Tap Main Menu  > Maintenance > People Information. Select a person.
    2. In Employee, select Process Profiles.
    3. Select the process profile.
    4. Click Tap Save
    5. Repeat for other people.
